Sophisticated Research Facility Visit & Hands-on Training (HOT) at BIT Campus, Anna University – Third Batch

Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu, successfully organized the Third Batch one-day academic visit to the Sophisticated Research Facility and Hands-on Training (HOT) Centre, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, BIT Campus, Anna University, Tiruchirappalli, on 29th December 2025 for the final-year B.Pharm project students. A total of 13 students participated in the visit under the guidance of Dr. R. Prema, IQAC Director, and the coordination of Ms. K. Gowsalya, M.Pharm. During the visit, the students received hands-on exposure and demonstrations on advanced instruments such as SEM, UPLC, HPLC, Particle Size Analyzer, Zeta Potential Analyzer, Plethysmograph System, and Gel Electrophoresis Unit. The students also attended a Ph.D. Viva Voce, which provided valuable insight into advanced research methodology and thesis presentation. An expert interaction with Dr. P. Selvamani, Professor and Head, further motivated the students towards higher studies and research-oriented careers. The visit was highly informative and played a significant role in strengthening the students’ project work and research skills.
