Faculty Development Programme on “Next Generation Medical Sciences: Clinical Translation and Interdisciplinary Research through Nanotechnology”

Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu, successfully organized a One Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Next Generation Medical Sciences: Clinical Translation and Interdisciplinary Research through Nanotechnology” on 30th December 2025 at the Conference Hall, Sir Issac Newton Educational Institutions. The programme aimed to enhance research orientation, scientific writing skills, and awareness on translational research and nanotechnology among faculty members. The technical session was delivered by Prof. Dr. P. Selvamani, M.Pharm., Ph.D., Director – Nanobio and HOD, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Anna University – BIT Campus, Tiruchirappalli, who provided valuable guidance on clinical translation, interdisciplinary research, research proposal preparation, scientific publications, publication ethics, and funding opportunities from State and Central Government agencies. The programme was organized under the leadership of Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, Principal, SINCOP, and witnessed active participation from faculty members. The FDP concluded successfully with positive feedback from the participants, highlighting its importance in strengthening the research culture of the institution.
