Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu, successfully organized an industrial visit on 24.12.2025 for 51 B. Pharm VIII Semester students, accompanied by three faculty members, to the Pasteur Institute of India, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. The Pasteur Institute of India is an autonomous institution functioning under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The visit was organized with the objective of providing students with hands-on exposure and industrial insight into vaccine production, quality control, research activities, biosafety practices, and regulatory standards followed at a nationally renowned public health institute. During the visit, students gained in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance systems, safety protocols, and the significant role of the institute in disease prevention and public health services. Interaction with scientists and technical experts further enhanced the students’ understanding of industrial operations and research-oriented career opportunities. The industrial visit was highly informative and beneficial, effectively bridging the gap between academic learning and real-time industrial applications, thereby strengthening the professional skills and practical knowledge of the students. The institution extends its sincere gratitude to the management for providing the necessary facilities, encouragement, and continuous support in organizing this successful industrial visit.
