SINCOP Excels at Issac Intercollege Sports Meet 2K25

The Department of Physical Education of Sir Issac Newton Educational Institutions, Nagapattinam, organized the “Championship Clash” Award Ceremony on 7th November 2025 at the college auditorium. The event was conducted to honour the winners of the Issac Annual Sports Meet 2K25 for their remarkable achievements and exemplary sportsmanship. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed Chief Guests, Mr. K. N. Kannan, M.P.Ed., PGDCA., DIPE, Nagapattinam, and Ms. V. Mohanapriya, M.A., PGDHRM., PGDBM., Asian Powerlifting Silver Medalist, who presented medals and certificates to the winners. The event celebrated the dedication, discipline, and team spirit of the students who brought laurels to the institution. In the Chess (Men’s) event, students M. Arun, M. Gugan, V. Balapraveen, and S. Subash demonstrated exceptional strategic thinking and focus to emerge as winners, bringing honour to the Department of Pharmacy. Likewise, in the Tennikoit (Women’s) category, Ayisha Sayeedha A showcased outstanding skill and consistency, winning the title and earning admiration from faculty and peers alike. In addition to these victories, the Football (Men’s) team from the Department of Pharmacy delivered an impressive performance, securing the Runner-up position. The team members included K. Kalai Vishnu (Captain), G. Souljer, D. Rajeswaran, S. Farjith Aswan, L. Rishi Growtham, A. Ajay, K. Ganesh, M. Mohamed Musammeel, S. Neevithan, T. Jagadeesan, V. Pravin Kumar, A. H. Mohamed Abdulla, K. Aswin, S. Kallith Ahamed, and A. Abuthahir. Their teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship were highly appreciated throughout the tournament. Following the ceremony, the winning students from the Department of Pharmacy met the Principal, who extended his warm wishes and heartfelt congratulations. He commended their dedication, discipline, and enthusiasm, encouraging them to continue excelling in both academics and co-curricular pursuits. Special appreciation was extended to the College Physical Education Trainer for his dedicated guidance and support, which contributed significantly to the students’ success. The event concluded with applause and appreciation, celebrating the achievements of the participants and reflecting the true spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and excellence upheld by Sir Issac Newton Educational Institutions, Nagapattinam.
