SINCOP Signs MoU with SynerHeal Pharmaceuticals

On 13th October 2025, Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam, proudly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SynerHeal Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. The college was represented by Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, Principal, while Dr. P. Sathiamurthi, Managing Director represented SynerHeal Pharmaceuticals. This partnership marks a significant step toward fostering academic-industry collaboration. As part of the collaboration, a team from the college visited the state-of-the-art SynerHeal manufacturing facility at Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai. The visit provided an opportunity to witness their excellence in the production of collagen-based sterile pharmaceutical products, dental implants, and medical devices. The experience showcased the company’s commitment to quality, innovation, and technological advancement. A key highlight of this MoU is the provision of training and placement opportunities for students at SynerHeal’s Sterile Schedule C & C1 licensed manufacturing unit and licensed medical device facility. This initiative ensures that students gain hands-on industrial exposure, practical knowledge, and skill development in a real-world setting. The collaboration is expected to enhance research opportunities, skill development, and career growth for both students and faculty members. By bridging the gap between academia and industry, this MoU reinforces the college’s commitment to producing competent professionals ready to meet the evolving demands of the pharmaceutical sector.
