We are delighted to share that 87 students and two faculty members from Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu, actively participated virtually in the Two-Day National Conference on “Real-Time Innovations in Pharmacy: Enhancing Patient Care with Current Trends” held on the 2nd and 3rd of September 2025. The conference was organized by Sri Shanmugha College of Pharmacy, Sankari, Salem, Tamil Nadu, and served as an excellent platform to explore recent advancements in pharmacy practice and their impact on patient care. The virtual sessions featured insightful lectures by eminent speakers including Dr. C. Dhandapani (KMCH College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore), Dr. Shaji George (MET’s College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research, Kerala), Dr. P. Venkatesan (Annamalai University), Dr. Yuvaraj Mani (Government Hospital, Edappadi), and Dr. Deepica Kumar (Thanthai Periyar Government Headquarters Hospital, Erode). Participants gained valuable insights into evidence-based pharmaceutical care, hospital pharmacy practices, integration of diagnostic services, and the pharmacist’s evolving role in mental health management. The conference provided a remarkable opportunity for our students to engage with experts, exchange knowledge, and understand real-time innovations shaping modern healthcare. We extend our sincere appreciation to our Faculty Coordinators, Dr. P. Abinaya and Dr. M. Vishnu Priya, for their guidance and support, and to our Principal, Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, M.Pharm., Ph.D., for his continuous encouragement that enabled our students to participate successfully in this national-level conference.
