Orientation Programme – ISO Certification: Enhancing Quality and Excellence in Higher Education

The Seminars, Conferences and Training Committee of Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Pappakovil, successfully organized an Orientation Programme titled “ISO Certification: Enhancing Quality and Excellence in Higher Education” on 07th May 2025. The session, led by Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, Principal, was conducted exclusively for the Principals of SINEI Institutions to provide strategic insights into the implementation of ISO certification frameworks in academic settings. The programme focused on key areas such as documentation procedures, internal audits, compliance standards, and continuous quality improvement practices. Valuable contributions from Dr. K. Elangovan, Registrar of SINEI, and Dr. A. Kumaravadivel, Principal of Sir Issac Newton College of Engineering and Technology, added depth and practical relevance to the discussions. The interactive nature of the session encouraged active participation, with principals exchanging ideas and addressing common challenges related to quality assurance. The orientation received highly positive feedback and underscored the commitment of Sir Issac Newton Educational Institutions to fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement in higher education.
