Campus Placement Drive – BAWA Pharmacy, Mayiladuthurai

The Training and Placement Cell of Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Pappakovil, Nagapattinam, organized a successful Campus Placement Drive in collaboration with Bawa Pharmacy, Mayiladuthurai, on March 11, 2025, offering final-year B.Pharm and D.Pharm students valuable career opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector. Held at the college seminar hall, the event began with a welcome address by Mrs. Vanitha Devi, Vice Principal, followed by insightful presentations from Bawa Pharmacy recruiters about career growth and industry expectations. The selection process involved personal interviews and group discussions, focusing on assessing students' technical knowledge and communication skills, culminating in spot job offers. Out of 22 participating students, 6 secured employments, reflecting the success of the initiative. Students expressed appreciation for the practical exposure, and recruiters commended the students' preparedness and enthusiasm. The event reinforced the college’s commitment to bridging academia and industry, with sincere thanks extended to the management, faculty, Bawa Pharmacy recruiters, and the Training and Placement Cell for their efforts in making the event a resounding success.
