Orientation Programme for I Year B.Pharm & D.Pharm Students

The Orientation Programme for first-year B.Pharm and D.Pharm students was conducted at Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam, from 11th November 2024 to 15th November 2024. Organised by the college, the programme aimed to familiarize fresher students with the institutional culture, academic curriculum, departmental activities, and course outcomes. It provided a platform to introduce various departments, disciplinary rules, and academic frameworks, promoting active engagement and learning opportunities. Students gained a clear understanding of their departments, academic expectations, and institutional values, while visits to laboratories and facilities offered practical exposure to instruments and safety practices. Sessions focusing on discipline, curriculum structure, and scientific opportunities ensured comprehensive preparation for their academic journey. The students expressed positive feedback, appreciating the structured approach, laboratory visits, and interactive sessions, which significantly boosted their confidence and enthusiasm for the course.
