One-Day National Seminar on “Advances in Clinical Pharmacy Practice & Patient Care” Successfully Organized

Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Pappakovil, Nagapattinam, successfully organized a One-Day National Seminar on “Advances in Clinical Pharmacy Practice & Patient Care” on 25 August 2026 at the institution. The seminar was presided over by Dr. T. Ananth, Chairman, Sir Issac Newton Educational Institutions, while Dr. K. Elangovan, Registrar, SINEI, delivered the felicitation address. Dr. A. Bharath Kumar, M.Pharm., Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice, School of Pharmacy, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, served as the Resource Person and delivered an insightful session on contemporary developments in clinical pharmacy practice and patient care. The programme was organized under the leadership of Dr. R. Prema, Principal, SINCOP, with the support and guidance of Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, IQAC Coordinator, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmaceutics. Mr. J. Vinoth, Vice-Principal, SINCOP, delivered the Vote of Thanks and expressed sincere appreciation to the dignitaries, resource person, faculty members, coordinators, student volunteers and participants for their valuable contributions to the successful conduct of the seminar. The institution acknowledges the dedicated efforts of all coordinators, co-coordinators, faculty members, committee members, office and support staff and students. The seminar provided an enriching academic platform for students and faculty members to enhance their knowledge of clinical pharmacy practice and the evolving role of pharmacists in patient care. The programme concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation, reflecting the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, professional development and collaborative learning.
