B.Pharm VIII Semester Students Successfully Complete Industrial Internship at Appasamy Ocular Devices (P) Ltd., Puducherry

Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu, is pleased to share that six B.Pharm VIII Semester students successfully completed their industrial internship at Appasamy Ocular Devices (P) Ltd., Puducherry. The students M. Kaneeth, Barathi, Gowtham Raj S, Dhanush G, Barathi B and Akash S gained valuable practical exposure to the Production and Quality Control (QC) Departments, enabling them to understand pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, production activities, quality control procedures, analytical testing, documentation practices and industrial quality standards. The internship provided an opportunity for the students to connect their theoretical knowledge with practical industrial applications and gain firsthand experience in a professional manufacturing environment. The institution sincerely acknowledges the continuous encouragement and support of Dr. T. Ananth, Chairman; Dr. K. Elangovan, Registrar; and Dr. R. Prema, M.Pharm., Ph.D., LL.B., Principal, in providing such valuable practical learning opportunities. The college also extends its sincere gratitude to the officials and staff members of Appasamy Ocular Devices (P) Ltd., Puducherry, especially Mr. Dhavamani, Head – Quality Assurance, for their guidance, support and warm hospitality.
