Student Success Series 2026: Mastering Internal Assessment, University Examinations & Academic Excellence for Pharm.D I Year Students

Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy successfully organized a session under the Student Success Series 2026 on "Mastering Internal Assessment, University Examinations & Academic Excellence" for the Pharm.D I Year students on 29 July 2026. The session was delivered by Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, M.Pharm., Ph.D., IQAC Coordinator and Head, Department of Pharmaceutics, who provided valuable guidance on strategies for excelling in internal assessments and university examinations. He emphasized the importance of systematic study planning, effective time management, regular attendance, academic discipline and professional ethics. He also encouraged students to develop critical thinking, self-directed learning and a patient-centred approach, which are essential qualities for successful Pharm.D professionals. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, who actively engaged in the interactive discussions and gained practical insights into effective learning strategies, examination preparedness and academic success. The session also motivated students to cultivate confidence, lifelong learning skills and professional competence to meet the evolving demands of pharmacy practice and healthcare.
