Parents–Teachers Association (PTA) Meeting for B.Pharm II Semester Successfully Conducted

The Parents–Teachers Association (PTA) Meeting for B.Pharm II Semester was successfully conducted on 22 July 2026 at Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam. The meeting was organized to strengthen collaboration between parents and the institution and to review the academic progress, discipline and overall development of the students. The programme commenced with the Welcome Address by Mr. J. Vinoth, Vice Principal, who emphasized the importance of active parent–teacher interaction in enhancing students' academic performance and professional growth. Dr. R. Prema, M.Pharm., Ph.D., LL.B., Principal, addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of academic excellence, regular attendance, discipline and the shared responsibility of parents and faculty in nurturing competent pharmacy professionals. Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, M.Pharm., Ph.D., IQAC Coordinator, shared the institution's quality initiatives and emphasized the importance of continuous academic improvement through effective parent–institution collaboration. An interactive session was conducted with Dr. R. Sabeetha, Class Advisor, and the subject faculty members, during which parents discussed their wards' academic performance, attendance, internal assessment, discipline and overall progress. The session provided an opportunity for constructive feedback, clarification of academic queries and meaningful interaction between parents and faculty members. The institution expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. T. Ananth, Chairman, for his visionary leadership and unwavering support, and Dr. K. Elangovan, Registrar, for his constant guidance and encouragement. Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy also extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. R. Prema, Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, Mr. J. Vinoth, Dr. R. Sabeetha, all faculty members and the parents for their valuable participation and cooperation in making the PTA Meeting a grand success.
