SINCOP Students Secure First Prize in E-Poster Presentation at National Seminar

Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam, proudly participated in the National Seminar on "AI in Regulatory Pharmacovigilance: Current Trends and Future Directions", organized by Rathinam College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore, on 18 July 2026. The seminar brought together academicians, researchers, industry experts and students to discuss the transformative role of artificial intelligence in pharmacovigilance, regulatory science and drug safety. Students and faculty members of Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy actively participated in the scientific sessions and academic competitions, gaining valuable exposure to the latest developments in regulatory pharmacovigilance and AI-driven healthcare technologies. The programme also provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, professional networking and research-oriented learning. A proud moment for the institution was the outstanding achievement of Mr. M. Sathiyapriyan, who secured First Prize in the E-Poster Presentation Competition under the guidance of Mrs. M. Shalini, and Ms. Kayalvizhi R., who also secured First Prize in the same competition under the guidance of Mrs. R. Vanitha Devi. Their exceptional performance reflects the institution's commitment to fostering research excellence, innovation and scientific communication through dedicated faculty mentorship.
