Parents–Teachers Association (PTA) Meeting for B.Pharm IV Semester Successfully Conducted

The Parents–Teachers Association (PTA) Meeting for B.Pharm IV Semester was successfully conducted on 20 July 2026 at Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam. The meeting served as an effective platform to strengthen the partnership between parents and the institution in fostering students' academic excellence, discipline and professional development. The programme commenced with the Welcome Address by Mr. J. Vinoth, Vice Principal, who emphasized the importance of active parent–teacher collaboration in supporting students' educational journey. Dr. R. Prema, M.Pharm., Ph.D., LL.B., Principal, addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of academic performance, regular attendance, discipline and holistic development in preparing students for successful careers in the pharmacy profession. During the interactive session, parents met with the Class Advisor, Mrs. M. Shalini, and the respective subject faculty members to review their wards' academic performance, attendance, internal assessment, discipline and overall progress. The session provided an opportunity for meaningful discussions, constructive feedback and collaborative planning to enhance student learning outcomes. The institution expresses its sincere gratitude to Dr. T. Ananth, Chairman, for his visionary leadership and continuous support, and Dr. K. Elangovan, Registrar, for his constant guidance and encouragement. Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy also extends its appreciation to Dr. R. Prema, Mr. J. Vinoth, Mrs. M. Shalini, all faculty members and the parents for their valuable participation and cooperation, which contributed to the successful conduct of the PTA Meeting. The college remains committed to strengthening parent–institution collaboration and promoting a supportive academic environment that nurtures the overall growth and success of its students.
