Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam, successfully conducted the Parents–Teachers Association (PTA) Meeting for B.Pharm VI Semester students on 16th July 2026. The meeting was organized to strengthen the partnership between parents and the institution while reviewing the academic performance, attendance, discipline, and overall progress of the students. The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. J. Vinoth, Vice Principal, who welcomed the parents and emphasized the importance of active parental participation in supporting students throughout their academic journey. He highlighted the significance of maintaining close communication between parents and faculty members to ensure the academic and personal development of every student. Dr. R. Prema, M.Pharm., Ph.D., LL.B., Principal, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of academic excellence, regular attendance, discipline, and professional ethics in shaping competent pharmacy graduates. She encouraged parents to work closely with the institution in guiding students toward achieving their educational and career goals. Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, M.Pharm., Ph.D., IQAC Coordinator, delivered a special address on the institution's quality initiatives and continuous improvement practices. He highlighted the role of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in enhancing academic standards and encouraged sustained parent–teacher interaction to support holistic student development. An interactive session was subsequently held, during which parents met with Ms. K. Gowsalya, Class Advisor, and the respective subject in-charges to discuss each student's academic performance, attendance, discipline, and overall progress. Parents actively participated by sharing valuable feedback, seeking clarifications, and discussing strategies for improving student performance and well-being. The Management sincerely appreciates the enthusiastic participation of all parents and guardians. The institution extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. T. Ananth, Chairman, Dr. K.
