Parents–Teachers Association (PTA) Meeting – B.Pharm VIII Semester

Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam, successfully conducted the Parents–Teachers Association (PTA) Meeting for B.Pharm VIII Semester students on 14th July 2026. The meeting was organized with the objective of strengthening the partnership between parents and faculty members and discussing the academic progress, attendance, discipline, and overall development of the students. The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. J. Vinoth, Vice Principal and Course Coordinator, who welcomed the parents and emphasized the importance of active parental involvement in supporting students throughout their academic journey. He highlighted the significance of effective communication between parents and the institution in achieving academic excellence and professional growth. The meeting was presided over by Dr. R. Prema, M.Pharm., Ph.D., LL.B., Principal, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of academic commitment, regular attendance, discipline, and ethical values in shaping successful pharmacy professionals. She encouraged parents to work closely with the institution in guiding students toward achieving their educational and career aspirations. Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, M.Pharm., Ph.D., IQAC Coordinator, delivered a special address on the institution's quality initiatives and continuous academic improvement practices. He highlighted the vital role of parent–teacher collaboration in enhancing students' learning outcomes and ensuring their holistic development. An interactive session followed, during which parents met with faculty members and subject in-charges to discuss each student's academic performance, attendance, and overall progress. Parents actively participated by sharing their feedback, raising queries, and engaging in constructive discussions aimed at supporting student success. The Management sincerely appreciates the enthusiastic participation and valuable cooperation of all parents and guardians. The institution also extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. T. Ananth, Chairman, Dr. R. Prema, Principal, Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, IQAC Coordinator, Mr. J. Vinoth, Vice Principal and Course Coordinator, and all faculty members for their dedicated efforts in making the PTA meeting a meaningful and successful programme.
