SINCOP Students Successfully Complete Pharmacovigilance Internship Training

Greetings from Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Pappakovil, Nagapattinam. Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy is proud to share that a group of students from the institution successfully completed their internship training in Pharmacovigilance at Interspot Innovation Private Limited, Hyderabad. The internship programme was undertaken as part of the institution’s continuous efforts to provide students with practical exposure, industry-oriented training, and professional skill development in emerging areas of pharmaceutical sciences. The internship opportunity enabled students to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of pharmacovigilance, thereby strengthening their academic learning with real-world industrial exposure. The internship training was offered with a stipend ranging from Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month, which added further value and encouragement to the students’ participation in the programme. The first batch of students commenced their internship on 27 May 2026, while the next batch of selected students commenced their internship on 07 June 2026. The internship programme provided structured training and assessment in the relevant domain, allowing the students to develop practical knowledge in drug safety monitoring, adverse drug reaction reporting, documentation practices, and other key components of pharmacovigilance. A total of ten students of Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy successfully underwent the internship training at Interspot Innovation Private Limited, Hyderabad. The students who completed the internship programme are Tamimul Ansary N. M. B, Mohan K, Ayisha Sayeedha A, Sivakami R, Vishnu Priya P, Sowmiya B, G. Arunachalam, S. Akash, S. Gowtham Raj, and V. Suvika. Their successful completion of the internship reflects their dedication, willingness to learn, and commitment towards professional advancement. Upon successful completion of the internship, the students became eligible to receive various certificates including Internship Completion Certificate, Performance Evaluation Certificate, Letter of Recommendation, Pharmacovigilance Training Certificate, and Project Completion Certificate. These credentials will further strengthen their professional profile and support their future career prospects in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. This successful internship completion marks yet another milestone in the academic and professional journey of the students and highlights the institution’s commitment to bridging classroom learning with industrial practice. Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy continues to encourage students to participate in such value-added training programmes to improve their employability skills, practical competencies, and career readiness.
