Pool Campus Drive Organized in Association with Strides Pharma

Greetings from Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu. The Training & Placement Cell of Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy successfully organized a Pool Campus Drive in association with Strides Pharma for Final Year D.Pharm students on 15th May 2026. The programme was conducted with the objective of providing career opportunities, industry exposure, and placement support for aspiring pharmacy professionals. The campus drive served as an excellent platform for students to interact with industry professionals and gain practical knowledge about recruitment procedures, corporate expectations, and career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Thiruvengadam, HR – Strides Pharma, interacted with the students and shared valuable insights regarding professional ethics, workplace behaviour, communication skills, and industry-oriented competencies essential for pharmacy graduates. Final Year D.Pharm students enthusiastically participated in the campus drive, and 7 students were successfully offered placement opportunities by Strides Pharma. The achievement marked a proud moment for the institution and reflected the continuous efforts taken by the college towards skill development and placement enhancement for students. The programme was coordinated successfully by the Training & Placement Cell coordinators Ms. A. S. Arisha Sri, Ms. R. Priyadharshini, and Mr. Balachandru, along with faculty members and supporting staff. The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Management of Sir Issac Newton Educational Institutions. Dr. T. Ananth, Chairman, and Dr. K. Elangovan, Registrar, continuously encourage industry–institution collaboration for the academic and professional advancement of students. The institution sincerely thanked Mr. Thiruvengadam, HR – Strides Pharma, faculty coordinators, and participating students for their active involvement and support. The programme marked another milestone in strengthening placement initiatives and fostering industry interaction for the benefit of pharmacy students. Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy remains committed towards academic excellence, professional skill development, and career-oriented education for future healthcare professionals.
