Training Programme on Corporate Expectations for Pharmacy Students Organized Successfully

Greetings from Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu. The Training & Placement Cell of Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy successfully organized a Training Programme on “Corporate Expectation and Skill Development” for Final Year B.Pharm and D.Pharm students on 15th May 2026. The programme was conducted with the objective of enhancing students’ professional competencies and preparing them to meet the expectations of the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Thiruvengadam, HR – Strides Pharma, served as the Resource Person for the programme. He delivered an informative and interactive session focusing on corporate expectations, professional ethics, communication skills, interview preparedness, workplace behaviour, and industry-oriented competencies essential for pharmacy graduates. The session provided valuable insights into current industry standards and motivated students to strengthen their employability and career readiness. Dr. R. Prema, Principal, SINCOP, addressed the gathering and explained the importance of pharmaceutical industry exposure and professional skill development for students pursuing pharmacy education. Mr. J. Vinoth, Vice Principal, organized the programme successfully along with the Training & Placement Cell and faculty members. Around 100 Final Year B.Pharm and D.Pharm students actively participated in the programme and gained practical exposure towards career opportunities and professional skill enhancement in the pharmaceutical sector. The session served as an informative and motivating platform for students to improve their confidence and understand the expectations of the corporate environment. The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Management of Sir Issac Newton Educational Institutions. Dr. T. Ananth, Chairman, and Dr. K. Elangovan, Registrar, continuously encourage industry–institution interaction for the academic and professional advancement of students.
