On-Campus Placement Drive with Anbu Hospital, Kumbakonam

Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu, successfully organized an On-Campus Placement Drive with Anbu Hospital, Kumbakonam for final year B. Pharm and D. Pharm students on 3rd March 2026 at the Seminar Hall, SINCOP. The programme was conducted by the Training and Placement Cell with the objective of providing direct employment opportunities and enhancing students’ career prospects in hospital pharmacy practice. Officials from Anbu Hospital served as the recruitment team and conducted the selection process. The drive focused on evaluating students’ professional knowledge, communication skills, and practical competencies relevant to pharmacist roles in a clinical setting. The recruitment process included interaction sessions and personal interviews, where students actively participated and showcased their skills. The event provided a valuable platform for students to engage with healthcare professionals and gain insights into real-time hospital pharmacy practices. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from final year students. A total of 15 final year D. Pharm students were successfully selected for pharmacist positions at Anbu Hospital, Kumbakonam, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s placement activities.
