One Day National Symposium on “Industry Oriented Training Programme – Pharma Academia” Successfully Organized

Greetings from Sir Issac Newton College of Pharmacy, Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu. The institution successfully organized a One Day National Symposium on “Industry Oriented Training Programme – Pharma Academia” on 28.02.2026, aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial practices in the pharmaceutical field. The symposium was enriched by the presence of distinguished resource persons including Dr. Venkidesh Ramadoss, General Manager – Quality Assurance, Hibrow Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Chennai; Dr. Dhatchana Moorthy, Principal Scientist – Biomarker Research, Karbon Bio, USA; and Mr. Ajmal Khan, Business Head – TULIPS and Regulatory Affairs Strategist, Coimbatore. Through their expert sessions, students gained valuable insights into Quality by Design, Regulatory Affairs, Biomarker Research, biological treatments, and pharmacovigilance practices, including identification and reporting of adverse drug reactions. The programme provided significant exposure to current pharmaceutical trends and strengthened the interface between academia and industry. The management’s continuous support and guidance played a vital role in the grand success of the event, and sincere appreciation is extended to all faculty members and students for their active participation and cooperation.
